The lovely garden, which is looked after by some of our Residents, is a favourite location in which to relax or socialise with friends and relatives. All our bright and comfortable bedrooms and living areas are easily accessible by wheelchair. Residents can also purchase individual telephone services/Sky TV packages for their bedrooms if they wish to do so. The home is accessible for wheelchair users, and handrails are available in all communal areas. We have a range of specialist equipment to meet the needs of our residents. Our caring and empathetic teams provide highly sensitive and compassionate end-of-life care within our nursing homes, working with your loved one and their family, as well as their GP and other health professionals, to plan their care.
We Care Group believe in the importance of technology for the betterment of life, and that is why we invested in the Interactive Tables in the past year. The interactive is a 40 inches, scratch resistance, durable pad with an integrated Android operating system. It had up to 10 touchpoints, which means two residents and one carer simultaneously can use it.

The staff were always extremely attentive and did everything in their power to make mums time here as enjoyable and homely as possible. This was an even bigger achievement due to the additional challenges arising from the COVID restrictions. Brooklands Homecare Limited is a domicilliary homecare company which offers help to people who wish to remain in their own homes. This is a simple alternative to either moving into residential care, temporarily living with family, or is for those who would purely like a little help with day to day living. This friendly home offers the choice of three sitting rooms and three dining areas. There is also a coffee shop, a hairdressing salon and treatment room, a dedicated activities room and a sunny conservatory.
As a Registered Nurse, Catherine has gained a wealth of experience in providing care and nursing support to elderly people, to enrich their lives. She is a knowledgeable and dedicated leader who is passionate about delivering the highest standards in care and quality of life for Residents. Catherine chose to work in the care sector because she loves caring for people, being able to make someone smile, being with them, listening to them and being a part of their life and making a positive impact on them. Outside of work, Catherine enjoys spending time as a family including her three children.

The recreational time was a key feature and the staff were very creative and inventive in their efforts to keep the residents occupied and entertained. The carers showed kindness in everything they did and the medical team were exceptional. The Meadows is a 34 bedded care home close to local amenities and public transport routes. Bedrooms are located on two floors with communal rooms on the ground floor.

We’re here to help with rest, rehabilitation, recuperation and relaxation. This was created to remember residents we have loved and lost, as well as those currently with us. Changing leaves in different colours will represent our residents who will be remembered affectionately.
This technology adds to our well-being, and the activities mix helps us keep our Residents sharp, happy and entertained. All three outcomes can be achieved through residents interaction with the table and the carer guidance. Brooklands Care home has 46 members of staff, between them, they have several years of care experience. Of the 24 Care Staff, all hold an NVQ Level 2 or above in Health and Social Care. My mother arrived at this home in May 2020, so has been a resident for 14 months.
The building is modern and has adequate car parking facilities and secure garden areas. This is the latest available inspection report for this service, carried out on 2nd October 2009. The care, dignity and respect she received were excellent couldn’t ask for better care for my mother.

The home has recently been extended by the acquisition of the property next door, and there are plans to upgrade the original building. The home has good access to the main shopping area, churches, bus and rail stations, library, hospital and doctors` surgeries. The accommodation is spread over three floors, served by two passenger lifts. The home is registered to provide accommodation for 40 people, and the accommodation is arranged in 28 single rooms and 6 double rooms. There are small garden areas at the front of the building and a central garden area. Specialist teams are on hand day and night to provide emotional and practical support to our residents, making sure they feel completely at home in their environment.
